How to Cut/Convert Audio & Video by VLC!

VLC is one of the most popular media player. Mostly people use VLC player to play video and audio. Beside playing video and audio you can also cut/convert your audio and video files by VLC player. Most of may already know the trick, but there are some beginner who don't know it. This post is dedicated to this. In this post  I am gonna show how to cut or convert audio and video files using VLC player.

How to Cut Audio & Video by VLC:

• First open the VLC player.
• Then play the audio or video file that you want to convert.
• Then click on View menu and select Advance Controls.
• Now you will find some additional controls at the bottom of the player.
• Here the Round Red button is the Record button.
  
• Now click on Record button to to Start recording and click again to Stop the recording.
• Then  find the recorded file in the User > My Videos or Music. The file will automatically saved in your PC's default Videos or Music folders.
  

How to Convert Audio & Video by VLC:

• Open the VLC player.
• Then click on Media menu and choose Convert/ Save.
  
• Then click on Add button and choose your desired audio or video.
  
• Then in the Destination option click on Browse button and select the location where you want to save the converted file.
  
• Now select the output format from the Profile option and click on Start button.

That's it, Now you can easily cut or convert audio and video files using VLC player.
