How To Fix Modem Crash very Easily!!!

If you are internet user then I am sure that you are very much familiar with the name of Modem. Modem is an electronic device that used to connect PC to internet. Beside having many advantages modem has some problem too. One of the most common problem is Crash of the Modem software. Today I will show how to fix this problem.

Every modem has its own software to run it on PC. But the problem is all modem software are not compatible with all windows version. Sometimes a modem is easy to use with Windows XP but it crashed when we use it with Windows 7 or 8. But a little trick can help us to get rid of this problem. Lets see how to do it...


Solving Modem Software Crashed Problem:

1. Go to directory where the Modem Software is installed (Example: C>Program Files>Edge Card).
2. Find the Run icon of Modem software (Example: wireless.exe)
3. Now click the right mouse button on the Run icon.
4. Then go to Properties and then click Compatibility tab.
5. Now select Run this program in compatibility mode for and then select Windows XP (Service Pack 3).
6. Select Apply and then OK.

That's it, your Modem software will not crashed further.
