Every modem has its own software to run it on PC. But the problem is all modem software are not compatible with all windows version. Sometimes a modem is easy to use with Windows XP but it crashed when we use it with Windows 7 or 8. But a little trick can help us to get rid of this problem. Lets see how to do it...
Solving Modem Software Crashed Problem:
- Go to directory where the Modem Software is installed (Example: C>Program Files>Edge Card).
- Find the Run icon of Modem software (Example: wireless.exe)
- Now click the right mouse button on the Run icon.
- Then go to Properties and then click Compatibility tab.
- Now select Run this program in compatibility mode for and then select Windows XP (Service Pack 3).
- Select Apply and then OK.
That's it, your Modem software will not crashed further.
