To block ads on android your device need to have a File Manager and also you need to change the device setting configuration. This method works on both rooted and unrooted device. Follow The Below Steps To Setup The Configuration:
- On your Android device go to Settings then Applications. [Security on Android 4 and above]
- Then check the Unknown Source option and tap Ok.
Now your Android Device is ready to Install Adblock Plus.
Install and Configure Adblock Plus:
- First open Browser on your device and download Adblock Plus. [Your device will receive an APK file]
- Then select the place where you want to keep the downloaded file.
- Then Tap on the files and Install. [If you open the APK file using File Manager then Select Open App Manage and then click Install]
- On Rooted Device: After the Installation open Adblock Plus. It will ask for superuser permissions. Then Allow superuser permission to Adblock Plus. That's it you are almost done.
- On Unrooted Device: You need to follow a few more steps to setup Adblock Plus on your device. Adblock Plus has shows the instructions on its website for Unrooted device. Get the instructions from here Adblock Plus Instruction.
Thats it. If everything is configured correctly then Adblock Plus will start blocking Ads on your Android Device.
