How To Block Ads On Android Phone/Tablet

Most probably, mobile phone or smartphone is the most used and popular electronic device of the current world. And android operated devices are top on the market demand. It is just because of the large amount apps availability and easy user friendly interface.

As I said android devices are popular mostly for apps. And many apps you are using free of cost. This apps are free, because apps developers are monetise their apps with ads. Though monetising apps inspire developers to develop new apps and continue the update, But for the users this ads are irritating and disturbing. To keep the developer up Google has removed adblocking apps from its Play Store.

There is english proverb that "Poison Kills Poison" and just like this ads on android apps can be blocked by another android apps named Adblock Plus. To block ads on android your device need to have a File Manager and also you need to change the device setting configuration. This method works on both rooted and unrooted device. But I this you should root your device.

Follow The Below Steps To Setup The Configuration:

1. On your Android device go to Settings then Applications. [Security on Android 4 and above]
2. Then check the Unknown Source option and tap Ok.

Now your Android Device is ready to Install Adblock Plus.

Install and Configure Adblock Plus:

1. First open Browser on your device and download Adblock Plus. [Your device will receive an APK file]
2. Then select the place where you want to keep the downloaded file.
3. Then Tap on the files and Install. [If you open the APK file using File Manager then Select Open App Manage and then click Install]

• On Rooted Device: After the Installation open Adblock Plus. It will ask for superuser permissions. Then Allow superuser permission to Adblock Plus. That's it you are almost done.
• On Unrooted Device: You need to follow a few more steps to setup Adblock Plus on your device. Adblock Plus has shows the instructions on its website for Unrooted device. Get the instructions from here Adblock Plus Instruction.

There are a few more options are available in Adblock Plus in Settings.

Thats it. If everything is configured correctly then Adblock Plus will start blocking Ads on your Android Device.
