By launching windows 8 and 8.2 Microsoft had brought some revolutionary changes in the design and features. One of the noticeable change was Windows Lock Screen. But many of the users like me didn't like this Lock Screen. Many of them found it unnecessary and they are using their Windows 8/8.1 by Bypassing it's Lock Screen. If you're one of them who don't like Windows 8/8.1 Lock Screen and wanting to disable it, Then this post is dedicated to you.
In this post I'm gonna show how to disable windows 8/8.1 lock screen. There are several way you can disable your Windows 8/8.1 Lock Screen. Most of the way you will have to use software. But the way that I'm gonna show in this post, it don't required any software. By going through this post you will be able to Disable Windows 8/8.1 Lock Screen without any additional software/registry/patch etc.
Disabling Windows 8/8.1 Lock Screen:
That's it from now Lock Screen will be disabled on your PC.
To Enable Lock Screen: Follow the same steps again and Set the value to Not Configured.

Disabling Windows 8/8.1 Lock Screen:
- Press WIN Key+R to launch RUN dialog box.
- Then type gpedit.msc and press Enter. It will open Group Policy Editor.
- Then in the left-side panel, go to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Control Panel > Personalization.
- Then in the right-side panel, Double click on Do Not Display Lock screen.
- Now in the new window Set the value to Enabled.
- Finally click on Apply and OK.
That's it from now Lock Screen will be disabled on your PC.
To Enable Lock Screen: Follow the same steps again and Set the value to Not Configured.
