How to Email a Word Document from Word 2010/13!

Email a Word Document
Microsoft word is the world most popular and used word processing software. Sometimes we need to send word document with a Email. In such case most of us send the word document as an attachment of the Email. But if you want then you can send a Word document as an email message directly from Word. Today I will show how to send word document directly from MS Word as the Email body.

In MS Word 2010/2013 you can use the Send to Mail Recipient feature to Word document as email body. In Word 2010 and 2013 the Send to Mail Recipient feature is not available in the Ribbon. To use this feature, you must add this command to the Quick Access Toolbar (QAT). To do this, follow these steps. The steps that I'm showing in this post are applies to MS Word 2010 and 2013.

Adding Send to Mail Recipient to QAT:
  • First Open your MS Word Program.
  • Then on the File menu, click Options.
  • Then click on the Quick Access Toolbar.
  • Then click on All Commands in the Choose commands from list.
  • Then Select Send to Mail Recipient and click the button Add.
  • Finally click on OK to close the dialog.
