Update Your Windows 10 to Latest Build Version [Free!]

It is a big gap, I have published the last post. Because of my study I have to take such a big gap. Sorry for that. But Today I have come up with a good news for you all. It is about Windows 10. I had published a post on Windows 10 when Microsoft released the first Technical Preview for this. The Good news is - Windows 10 will be a free upgrade for Windows 10 Technical Preview, Windows 7 and Windows 8 users. So, if you are using anyone of these Windows version whether it is Original or Pirated Product you are going to get Windows 10 for free!

Microsoft is going to launch Windows 10 worldwide this summer. It has already created a great craze to the windows users as the technical preview of windows 10 is already liked by everyone. However In today's post I am gonna discuss about updating windows 10 to its latest build version. When I had published the first post on windows 10, at that time it was Windows Technical Preview Evaluation Copy. Build 9841. And by these time windows has released several build version, the latest version is build 10049.

Recently When I had started my PC I had got a message appeared on my PC screen. This message is about the expiration of the windows build version. You might have also get the message also. If you don't then check the message from here - Go to Start Menu Windows Start icon enter Activate Windows and Hit on it. You will get the below message...

windows 10 expiration message

After the expiration of the build version you can use your PC, but you will have to face some problems like your PC will Restart in every two hours. So, my strong recommendation for you to update your Windows 10 to latest Build Version. On the other hand where you will get everything much better in latest build version then why don't you Update. If your are Signed in your PC with your Microsoft account then you have already got the latest update automatically. But if you had missed the Update then follow steps below very carefully.

Requirements to Update Preview Builds:

You can download the latest build version ISO file from Microsoft official site and install it on your PC as I show in the previous post. But if you have a Account in Microsoft then you can get the Update directly from your PC and in this case you won't have to Install it. So, the better idea is to Update your windows build version by signing into your Microsoft account on your PC.

Normally if you don't have Microsoft Account then you can use your Local Account (Your Name and Password) to sign into your PC. But by this Local Account you won't connect your PC to Microsoft Account. If you don't have any Microsoft account then Signup from the below link. And if you have a Microsoft Account then follow the steps below to Connect your PC to your Microsoft Account.

  • First Go to Start Windows Start icon type PC Settings and click on it.
  • Then click on Users and Accounts.
  • Then click on Your Profile option. And you will see the Local Account that you're Signed in.
  • Here click on Connect to a Microsoft Account and Enter the current Password that you used  to Enter into your PC and click Next button.
Microsoft Account connect to PC
  • Then Enter your Microsoft Account Mail ID and Password and click Next.
Sign into your PC Microsoft Account
  • Now complete the Microsoft Account verification process. (Mail or Mobile Phone verification - I use Mobile Phone verification) And then click Next button again.
  • And finally click on Switch button to complete the process.

That's it, Your PC is connected to your Microsoft Account and your are Ready to Update your Windows 10 to Latest version directly from your PC.

  • Again Go to PC Settings from Start Menu.
  • Then click on Update and Recovery option and Select Preview builds.
  • Then it will start automatically Checking for New Preview Build.
preview build download
  • Once the checking is completed click on Download Now button.

When the download will completed it will ask you for permission to install new preview build, Allow it. By the if you're not comfortable in this sign in procedure then you can use the normal download and installation method. For this you read this previous post on Download and Install Windows 10.

OST Recovery Tool - Convert & Repair Corrupted files

MS Exchange OST file comprises of MS Exchange user mailbox data and it serves as a backup copy of user mailbox data. But OST inaccessibility issues can be gruesome to some point which can be troublesome for users. OST to PST software brings about a miraculous conversion mechanism. It is no doubt an efficient tool and along with this, it is very easy for the execution. Its interface and prominent working makes the software more desirable for the OST repairing need. This section will discuss about the product, its working, and promising features.

OST Recovery

Basic Information About OST to PST Tool
Function: Software is built to recover data from an OST file to extract this file in other file formats like; PST, MSG and PST. The OST file supported by this tool range from corrupted, inaccessible, to orphan files targeting the OST files whose access was impossible by users in any way.
Targeted Audience: Organizations or individual users, which prefer and use MS Exchange as an emailing platform with MS Outlook configured facing OST troubles will be highly benefitted with this software. It is available in different licenses and thus can be purchased as an individual license, business license and enterprise license.
Availability: Software is available online and can be purchased online. It comes as a downloadable executable file which can be run and the application will be installed to be executed later. Single file has to be downloaded and the procedure takes hardly few minutes.
Price: $99
Platform: Software is strictly Windows-based and can be executed on Windows platform only. All the versions of Windows are supported by the tool including Windows 8.1 and below versions. Thus software can be run on any machine with Windows as a platform.
Outlook Version: There is full support for all the MS Outlook versions, including the MS Outlook 2013 version and this again is a very helpful feature of this tool. It will not restrict you with any bounding on version of MS Outlook.

Utility of OST to PST Tool

OST to PST Converter is a technical combination of various tools. The purpose served by this software is not restricted to conversion or recovery only. It serves both and much more, which according to me is the most attractive quality of this software. Here in this review, I will focus all the aspects which can benefit users.

Recovery:

This functionality of software helps to recover data from deteriorated OST file which is not supported by MS Outlook. To accommodate this, there are several features allied to this.
  • Advance Scanning:Software is integrated with an advance scanning mechanism. This option is available while software prompts to add the OST file. You just need to check the Advance scan option test box and this will program the tool to perform thorough scanning.
OST Recovery select path
  • All Type of Corruption Supported: Software program and its advance scanning mechanism, has been built in such a way that it supports all types of corruption levels. Different types of erroneous OST files are supported by this software.
  • Works Fine with Inaccessible OST Files: OST files which have become inaccessible or orphan due to Exchange downtime or account unavailability are also supported by this tool. This serves a huge satisfaction for users who are completely restricted from accessing OST files.

Preview:
  • Complete Preview: Software loads the OST file and then it lets users view complete OST data, including emails, contacts, calendars, etc. left pane of the software shows all the data folders and sub folders of OST file one can choose these folders to view its content in right pane listed in same sequence.
  • View Individual Item: From the listed items, one can choose a single item and its complete preview as an individual item will be also provided. This makes it easy to view the data individually and check if it has been recovered or not and it exists in the OST file or not.
  • Attachments and Attributes: Preview has an another added advantage of showing all the details of emails, including attributes like Meta Data, Subject, cc, From, To, etc. Attachments of emails belonging to different file formats can also be viewed separately.
OST Recovery attachment

Conversion:
  • Multi-File Conversion: Once recovery is done the extraction process can be done to various email file formats like; PST, EML or MSG. PST is preferred most for recovery purpose but the other file formats can be chosen by those users who want to access emails in other email clients.
  • Access Exchange Data in Other Email Applications: MSG and EML covers majority of email platforms like; Thunderbird, Windows Live Mail, etc. So if the switching of email clients is your scenario, conversion to EML or MSG can be done using this software. In case user wants to extract emails as individual emails, then MSG file format can be chosen.
  • Complete Conversion: As far as conversion and recovery are considered, complete data are prioritized by this tool. Few emails can be kept at stake in case of vulnerable corruption issues in the OST file, but at an average all the data is converted.
OST Recovery export option

Account for Advantages and Drawbacks

Software is vast and has undoubtedly multiple features, but yet is not complex, which is another flamboyant thing this software possesses. Overall performance is effective and most important thing is it serves well what it targets to do. What else does any user need? There are some points where this software cannot be preferred. For instance; if you are in urge of recovering/converting contacts and calendars of PST file to be accessed in Windows Live Mail or Thunderbird, then this software will not allow performing it. Because these data types will only be converted to MSG and PST file formats. For EML only emails can be converted. But for OST to PST or MSG file conversion it covers all the data files. Some of its features are very advanced and helpful like;

  • Superficial PST Split: An option to divide the PST file with respect to size in GB provided by you is available in this software. This will create multiple PST files with divided data so as to maintain data in separate PST files for better data management.
  • Naming Styles for MSG/EML: You can get your converted EML and MSG files as per your choice from the available options of naming conventions. You have to select these naming styles from drop-down menu which are available for OST to MSG and OST to EML conversion.
  • Deletion Recovery Available: Deleted data is the most horrible situation and luckily this software has an option to get it back it too. One can get back permanently deleted data from OST file using this OST to PST conversion tool.

Recommendation: I’ll rate this software with 4.7/5 but will also advise users to try the available demo version prior purchasing full version. It is no doubt innovative software for OST issues and can be recommended for individual as well as enterprise level of recovery and conversion.

How to Create a Chart in Microsoft Word!

A chart is a graphical representation of data, in which data is represented by symbols, such as bars in a bar chart, lines in a line chart, or slices in a pie chart.A chart can represent tabular numeric data, functions or some kinds of qualitative structure and provides different info. While working with MS word sometimes you may have to use chart to complete your presentation. In this post I'm gonna show how to create chart in MS word 2010.

When you insert a chart into a MS Word document, a sample chart is embedded in the document. The data used to plot the sample chart is stored in an Excel worksheet that is associated with the Word file. You have the same access to the powerful charting features as you do in Excel and PowerPoint. So, you don't need to create a chart in Excel and then import it to Word, because the capabilities are the same. Let's see how to do it...

Note: Creating chart in MS word may be different in different MS word version. The steps that I'm sharing in this post applies to MS Word 2010.

Creating Chart in MS Word:
  • First open the MS Word and open your Document.
  • Then click on Insert tab and click Chart. The Insert Chart dialog box will open.
    MS Word Chart option
  • Then in the Insert Chat box from the Left panel Choose your desired Chat type.
    Insert Chat dialogue box
  • Then click OK. Now you can see Microsoft Excel displaying a sheet containing dummy data for the chart. (Word remains open in its own window, and the two windows are arranged side by side)
    MS Excel data
  • Now you can change the data in Excel as you need. And the changes will reflects in the chart them automatically.
    MS Word Delete option
  • Finally switch to the Word window to view the chart.

How to Disable Automatic Updates in Windows 10

Disable Windows 10 Automatic Updates
Very recently windows has released its latest windows version, Windows 10. Basically it is a Technical Preview. That is why initially it require several updates. Let's consider my case, After installing windows 10 on my PC, I have noticed that it has a problem with resolution. After a few updates I had got the perfect resolution. So, windows updates is very necessary.

But there is a problem with windows 10 update system. In Windows 10 you are set to install new updates automatically. And you have no choice to change this Update settings. Because the change settings option is disabled. In this post I am gonna show how to disable automatic updates in Windows 10.

Why You Should Disable Automatic Update?

  • If your internet bandwidth is limited.
  • If you don't need windows updates at all.
  • If the updates are creating problem with your windows activation.

The earlier version of windows (Windows 7, 8 or 8.1) there are four options in windows update setting to choose update process. These are...

  • Install updates automatically.
  • Download updates but let me choose whether to install them.
  • Check for updates but let me choose.
  • Never check for updates.

In Windows 10 you will not get the above options to choose. By default Install updates automatically option is selected. And because the Update Setting is disabled, you can't use the drop down menu. Look at the below image...
automatic windows update

But there is a trick by which you can get back the options in windows 10 update settings. You have to enable this settings from Group Policy Editor. Let's see how enable Windows 10 Update Setting...

Enabling Windows 10 Update Setting:
  • First open Run option. (Press Windows Key+ R)
  • Then type gpedit.msc and press Enter.
  • Then go to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > All Settings.
  • Then find Configure Automatic Updates (Press C to go there quickly).
  • Then choose Enable. Here you will have 5 options. Choose Option-5: Allow local admin to choose setting.
  • Finally click on Apply and then click OK.
    Configure Windows Automatic Updates

Now Windows 10 Update Setting will be enabled, And you will get the drop down menu live, like the below image.
Windows 10 Update Settings

But if you look at these options then you can see that the Never Check for Updates option is not available. This option is vanished from this settings. And this option can't be restores. Now if you don't need to check for updates, the follow the below steps to stop checking for updates completely...

Disabling Windows 10 Automatic Updates:
  • Again open Run option. ((Press Windows Key+ R)
  • Then type gpedit.msc and press Enter.
  • Then go to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > All Settings.
  • Then find Configure Automatic Updates.
  • Then choose Disable option and click on Apply and then click OK.
    Never Check for Windows Updates

This time Windows 10 Update Setting will be disabled again, But it will never check for, download, or install updates.
