How to Check Computer System Information by CMD!

There are many way by which you can check your computer system information. Also there are many software to check PC system information. Previously I had shared Speccy software to check PC system specification. If you don't want to use any software then I will recommend you to use the inbuilt option of windows to check your PC system specification. And in this post I'm going to show how you can check your computer system information by a simple CMD command.
PC System Information
Have a look ate image above it is system information of PC get by CMD. However System Properties is one of the popular way to check a PC's specification. To see your PC's System Properties click Right mouse on My Compute and then choose Properties. But this method has a limitation - It will show only the basic information. But by using a simple CMD command can get more details information about your computer system. Let's see the procedure...

  • First press WindowsKey+R to open Run.
  • Then here type CMD and press Enter. A window will be prompted.
  • Now in the prompted window type SYSTEMINFO and press Enter.

That's it, wait a few seconds in the same window you will see the following information about your PC.
  • Host Name:
  • OS Name, OS Version, OS Manufacturer:
  • OS Configuration, OS Build Type:
  • Registered Owner, Registered Organization:
  • Product ID:
  • Original Install Date, System Boot Time:
  • System Manufacturer, System Model, System Type:
  • Processor(s):
  • BIOS Version:
  • Time Zone (Selected GMT Time Zone)
  • Total Physical Memory/ RAM
  • Virtual Memory: Maximum, Available, In Use
  • Others: Page File Location, Domain, Logon Server, Hotfix, Network Card etc.

Actually every method has its limitation. So, no one is enough to get all information about computer system. And that is why I will recommend you to try every possible method to get all information about your computer system.
