How to Add Password to Zip File/Folder in Windows XP

Today I will show How to Add Password To a Zip File/Folder. You just need to create a Zip file/folder and then add password to it. Let's see how to do it.


Adding Password To Zip File/Folder:
  1. At first Select the file/folder that you want to add password.
  2. Then click Right Mouse Button on that and click Send To and then click Compressed (zipped) folder.

  3. Then double click on the zipped folder to open it.
  4. Then click the File Menu and then click Add a Password.

  5. Then in the Add a Password window Type password and confirm it. Then click Ok.

That's it. Now when someone will want to open the folder then he will have to give the password.
